A Primer on Non-Violent Resistance & Civil Disobedience

Whether or not you have ever participated in resistance, the training offers a better understanding of what one seeks to accomplish and the manner in which one respectfully protests and resists. EVERYONE is invited to this teaching moment as MCC seeks to amplify the voices of love and peace in our world even as we stand up boldly against injustice. The first part of each session will talk about the philosophy of nonviolent resistance and the second part will be some practical guidelines on conducting protests - from rallies to sit-ins.
